Description of the Project The Return Review Program (RRP) performs automated Identity Theft (IDT), Income verification, tax compliance and pre-refund anomaly detection and fraud detection. RRP continues to evolve and enhance system capabilities, providing greater security for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS or Government) and our nation’s taxpayers, leading the charge against IDT and the filing of fraudulent returns. To keep pace with the complex, ever-evolving world of tax fraud, the RRP program has embraced the Agile framework in support of more frequent and rapid delivery. This enhances the Government’s ability to respond to IDT and fraud threats by quickly updating analytical tools to protect taxpayers’ identities and prevent refunds from falling into the wrong hands.
Day-to-Day duties of the Position Greenplum Database Administrator to administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
